Echo Bay to Parry Sound

Tuesday morning 7/18 we left our anchorage in Echo Bay headed to our next destination, Parry Sound.  Parry Sound is known to be the best place to provision between Georgian Bay and Little Current, which is in the North Channel and is probably two weeks away for us. 

Of course, the passage to Parry Sound had several tight spots.

We got a pump out and headed to our dock on pier A.  We stern tied in and the bow had a great view of Parry Sound including all the coming and goings....including day cruise ship excursions, sea plane excursions that leave and return right in front of us!  We also had an actual cruise ship called the Pearl Mist come into port! 

We spent Wednesday morning doing boat chores and provisioning.  Here is a breakdown of our provisioning today.......

Loaf of bread $3.75

The highlight of our last day in Parry Sound was OUR excursion on a sea plane!  It was so awesome! 

Tomorrow we plan on continuing north to an anchorage to ride out some rainy/windy weather until the weekend, which is supposed to brighten up!
